Arkansas Credit Unions Meet with Rep. French Hill

Credit unions in Arkansas’ Second Congressional District met with U.S. Rep. French Hill to discuss important issues impacting credit unions and the members they serve.

Arkansas Credit Union Association Executive Director Cara Tharp reported that the group discussed CDFI, Regulation E, P2P payment services, fraud, and more. They also gained valuable insight from the congressman about leadership roles on federal committees.

Tharp expressed her thanks to TruService Community Federal Credit Union for hosting this meeting and to Alcoa Community FCU, Baptist Health FCU, and Telcoe FCU for attending and participating in the conversation.

“Everyone had great stories to share, which is so important when advocating for our credit unions,” Tharp said.
