On Monday, America’s Credit Unions’ advocacy team met with Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Policy Jeanette Quick to discuss interchange, fraud, and the CFPB’s approach to payments.
Cornerstone League joins America’s Credit Unions in our opposition to any attempt to cap interchange fees for debit or credit transactions, including the Federal Reserve’s debit interchange proposal and the Big Box Bailout bill. Working with our system partners is critical to achieving the most favorable outcomes for credit unions. That’s why Cornerstone advocates remain connected with our partners via weekly calls and committee participation.
