Missouri Credit Union Association and Cornerstone League welcomed more than 70 credit union leaders from 21 different credit unions into the Jefferson City Capitol for the annual Day at the Capitol event.

Ian Dunlap Award for Advocacy
Ian DunlapCornerstone President/CEO Caroline Willard welcomed attendees to the Millbottom and announced the new Ian Dunlap Award for Advocacy. This award recognizes Dunlap’s tireless dedication, unwavering commitment, and profound impact on credit unions. It will be presented for the first time during the 2025 Day at the Capitol to an individual who embodies the principles of compassion, integrity, and perseverance.

Legislative Briefing
During the legislative briefing, attendees learned about insider threat prevention and training from Dr. Debra Orock Enoru, senior continuity and strategic operations manager at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Washington, D.C.  

Welcome in the House
Rep. Michael O’Donnell (R-District 95) welcomed credit union advocates to the Capitol with a special floor introduction during the morning House session.

Meet and Greets
The day concluded after over three hours of back-to-back meetings with 29 state representatives and 17 senators discussing the credit union difference, field-of-membership modernization, and support for the MOBUCK$ program.
