Cornerstone announces Reverse Crashers for YP Conference

Cornerstone League is pleased to announce the Reverse Crashers for this year’s Young Professionals Conference in the Dallas area, May 15–17. The generous CEOs who will share their valuable time and expertise with attendees include:

  • Chris Bower, Endurance Federal Credit Union, Duncan, Okla.
  • Karyn Davis, UP Arkansas Federal Credit Union, Little Rock, Ark.
  • Crystal Long, GECU, El Paso, Texas


Chris Bower, Endurance CU

Chris Bower

Bower has worked in the credit union industry for 27 years, starting as a loan processor and advancing to branch supervisor with ONECU in Oklahoma City. He moved to American Airlines FCU as a branch manager in Oklahoma and Texas; then senior lending officer for the Share Plus FCU in Plano, which soon after became a mutual savings bank. He was recruited as CEO with Caprock FCU in Lamesa, Texas; then Laramie Plains Community FCU in Wyoming. Bower is currently president/CEO of the $195 million Endurance Federal Credit Union in Duncan, Okla. In 2020, he was named the Employ Humanity Influencer of the Year. Bower received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Phillips University in Enid, Okla.

 

Karyn Davis, UP Arkansas

Karyn Davis

Davis has been the CEO of UP Federal Credit Union since January 2020. She has 23 years of service with her credit union and more than 27 years in financial services. Davis serves as an Asset Category 1 director on the Cornerstone League Board of Directors and as a board trustee for the Cornerstone Foundation. Davis serves on the Arkansas Governmental Affairs Subcommittee and is an ARCUPAC trustee. She has served on committees throughout the Cornerstone region and the credit union industry. Davis holds a bachelor’s degree from Park University and graduated from Southwest CUNA Management School in 2011 where she was class president. She holds CCUFC and CUCE designations.

 

Crystal Long, GECU

Crystal Long

Long is the president/CEO of GECU, in El Paso, Texas. She has led GECU to become El Paso’s largest federally insured, independently owned financial institution with more than $4.2 billion in assets, 31 branches, and more than 970 employees serving over 420,000 member-owners. Long serves on several local boards and various committees and boards at the state, national and worldwide levels. She holds an Executive Masters in business administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
