This week, Cornerstone League sent a letter
to U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) outlining the negative impact of the 2023 Credit Card Competition Act (CCCA).
This letter comes after two recent meetings with Marshall and his legislative aide, respectively, during which Cornerstone League President/CEO Caroline Willard explained the detrimental effects of the CCCA on consumers and credit unions. The Cornerstone letter was shared with Marshall to urge changes to preliminary language in the 2023 CCCA (yet to be introduced) and continues the conversation while the meetings are still fresh in their minds.
You, too, can move the needle on the interchange issue. Consider submitting a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or scheduling a meeting with your lawmakers to educate them on the negative impact the CCCA. If you haven’t already visited
