Tinker FCU names Garner, Lightfoot, and Rhodes as AVPs, branch managers

Tinker Federal Credit Union has named Maria Garner, Shelby Lightfoot, and Eboni Rhodes as assistant vice presidents, branch managers, at TFCU branches in Oklahoma City.

As branch managers, Garner, Lightfoot, and Rhodes oversee member experiences at each of their branches and mentor their respective teams to ensure TFCU meets our members’ financial needs. They also participate in local events on behalf of TFCU to build and strengthen community bonds.

Garner, who oversees the OKC Southwest and OKC Southwest drive-thru branches, has worked at TFCU for 11 years, starting as a part-time member service representative position and moving on to many branch roles including lobby supervisor, and then assistant branch manager. Garner also worked in TFCU’s Information Technology department as a business systems analyst for two years. While working at TFCU, Garner earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mid-America Christian University.

“I’m most looking forward to helping my team continue to learn and grow,” said Garner. “There is so much opportunity within this organization for growth and development, and I want to make sure they are using every opportunity available to them. I have had so many great mentors in my time at TFCU, and I hope to be a great mentor for others.”

Lightfoot manages the OKC North Rockwell branch and has been with the credit union for seven years. While attending Oklahoma State University for her bachelor’s degree in business management, Lightfoot worked at TFCU’s Stillwater branch as a part-time teller. During her time with TFCU, Lightfoot has assisted members at the Yukon and Moore branches before taking the helm at the OKC North Rockwell branch.

“I never would have imagined that my part-time position in Stillwater would lead me to a career I love,” said Lightfoot. “I am extremely excited to be at the OKC North Rockwell branch, not only to help the employees grow, but the membership as well.”

Rhodes, who supervises the OKC Northeast and OKC Metro Tech branches, earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Southern Nazarene University. As a TFCU employee for five years, she assisted members as a call center representative and supervisor at TFCU’s Member Service Center before transitioning to her branch management position.

“I’m overjoyed to take on this new role where I can serve the community I grew up in,” said Rhodes. “I feel like I’m back home.”
