TDECU names Brandy Phillips chief of staff

TDECU has named Brandy Phillips chief of staff of Houston’s largest credit union, continuing the organization’s dedication to reward talent and promote from within.

Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in mortgage lending and leadership including over a decade at TDECU, which currently has more than 370,000 members and $4.7 billion dollars in assets. She most recently served as vice president of mortgage where she achieved an impressive 30% year-over-year production growth for two years in a row.

As chief of staff, she will be responsible for fostering organizational effectiveness and for managing the execution and implementation of TDECU’s corporate strategy and initiatives in close collaboration with the senior leadership team and board of directors.

Prior to TDECU, Phillips worked for Bank of America and Cornerstone Mortgage. She earned a Master of Business Administration and a BS degree in marketing and management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
