You might say the silver anniversary of the Cornerstone Foundation Golf Tournament was as much a celebration as it was a golf tournament. When you combine 148 golfers, perfect weather, and the fact that the event raised more than $80,000 for the Cornerstone Foundation, clearly, there was a lot to celebrate.
It was the second year of actual golf following the pandemic-caused virtual tournament of 2020. This year’s winners were:
“We’d like to say a special thank you to our golfers, sponsors, and our wonderful volunteers,” said Courtney Moran, executive director of the Cornerstone Foundation. “The funds raised through the tournament will support our financial educational initiatives, professional development of credit union staff and volunteers, and disaster relief support for credit union communities.
“We look forward to our 26th annual tournament in April 2023. Please take one more look at our sponsors page for this year’s tournament. Their support made the tournament possible.”
