Every year, Cornerstone League reminds credit unions to update their Project Zip Code software and upload their relevant member/constituent data in advance of legislative meetings like those that take place at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.
Project Zip Code, which aids credit union leaders when they engage with elected officials, is one of our most powerful advocacy tools. PZC presents lawmakers with a concise, at-a-glance accounting of how many of their constituents are credit union members. When we couple the size of a lawmaker's constituency with the strength of the credit union movement, we have a powerful argument for their support.
But PZC is only as powerful as the data contained within it. That’s why we strongly urge you to update your software and upload your data now. Whether you use Windows or Mac, updating/uploading is easy, safe, and secure. No personally identifiable data or individual information ever leaves the credit union in the process.
To update or download the software, visit CUNA’s Project Zip Code Download Center at pzconline.com/install. If you are unable to upload your data, you can email your Excel or CSV file to April Krause instead. The file must contain separate columns for street address, city, state, and zip code.
If you have questions about Project Zip Code, please call April Krause at 469-385-6487 or 800-442-5762, ext. 6487.
