Our good friend Gary Parker, of 1st University FCU, is stepping down from the Lending and Collections Council Executive Committee after serving for 20 years. But his fellow committee members couldn’t let him go without honoring his legacy.

Over the years, Oklahoma credit unions have raised a total of $4 million in support of two children’s hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and all of it was through Credit Unions for Kids. This is the power of “people helping people.”

Greater Texas Credit Union held a grand opening for its new free-standing branch in downtown San Marcos and presented a $50,000 scholarship to a worthy recipient.
