Education Credit Union in Amarillo has promoted four team members and hired a new SVP of lending.
Claudia Burkett, a 32-year veteran of ECU, has been promoted to president of Canyon Market and executive vice president. Burkett currently oversees the lending and marketing and business development teams, as wells as Canyon Market. She is excited to announce that in the fall of 2022, ECU will open its second Canyon location.
Marcus Glass has been promoted to vice president of operations. He will continue to lead the payments team and assume responsibility for project management.
Johnny Harris has been promoted to senior vice president of retail operations. He will lead ECU’s Member Support Center and retail branches. Harris joined ECU in 2004 as a member service representative at the Hillside branch.
Lindsey Murphy was recently promoted to senior vice president of marketing and business development. Murphy started with ECU in 2009 as director of marketing. She will continue to lead ECU’s marketing efforts and is currently building a business development program.
Adrian Alejandre has joined the ECU team as the senior vice president of lending. Alejandre comes to ECU with 14 years of banking and credit union experience. He has a true passion for enhancing ECU’s ability to serve all potential members within the community.
