Mobiloil Credit Union Board Chairman Richard Hegele has announced that the credit union has surpassed the $1 billion assets threshold. Over the past 86 years, the credit union has grown to become the largest credit union in Southeast Texas and serves more than 67,000 members throughout Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, and Tyler counties.
“Achieving $1 billion inassets is not accomplished without the support of our communities and the hard work and dedication of our employees,” said John Doucet, Mobiloil CU president and CEO.
With this achievement, Mobiloil CU has adopted a new organizational structure that addresses the increase in size and complexity and provides strategic focus on the member experience by incorporating innovative technology into everyday interactions.
The credit union has promoted Jonathan Haskett to chief financial officer, Keisha Smith to chief culture officer, and LaDedra Jones to chief technology officer.
“All three have extensive experience in leading cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams throughout their careers,” said Doucet. “This success has well-positioned them to lead Mobiloil CU’s short- and long-term organizational goals in the coming years.”
Also promoted were Jacob Wills as VP of virtual services, Brenda Dickerson as VP of branches, Lindsey Castille as AVP of accounting and finance, Allison DeYoung as AVP of human resources, and Karrie Harris as AVP of compliance and risk.
