This week’s Leaguer touches on many topics of importance to your credit union from next week’s CUNA GAC to how credit unions adapted during extreme winter storms. The newsletter also touches on the importance of Black History Month and the many resources available to help small credit unions.
To start, I encourage you to sign up for Cornerstone’s Legislative Briefing at CUNA GAC, where NCUA Board Member Kyle Hauptman will discuss the regulatory environment for credit unions during the pandemic. For more information, see the Leaguer article.
And speaking of CUNA GAC, be sure to stop by our booths for the League and Cornerstone Resources.
In the midst of extreme winter storms, our credit unions provided a beacon of light to help employees and serve members. See the Leaguer story for details.
The Cornerstone Foundation stands ready with disaster relief grants to help credit union employees and board members impacted by the recent winter storms. At the same time, the Foundation is requesting contributions to ensure they have ample resources to help those in need.
You will see these stories and more in this issue of the Leaguer.
I hope you and your staff have a warm, safe, and productive week.
