Sharing good food and recipes with others is often how we show we care and offers a heartwarming way to connect. The Cornerstone Foundation’s newest project, the Cooking with Cornerstone cookbook, provides a way for the Cornerstone community to connect while also raising funds for the Foundation.

Cookbooks are $25 each and are available for preorder now. Shipping is $5 for the first book and $2.50 for each additional book up to a maximum of $50 for bulk orders. All preorders will receive an invoice for payment for payment and will be mailed by mid-December.

All proceeds from Cooking with Cornerstone benefit the Foundation’s disaster relief fund. Additionally, anyone who places a presale order by Dec. 1 will be entered in a drawing to win a $2,500 Cornerstone Foundation grant for their credit union.

“The cookbooks make great gifts for your board, staff, family, and friends,” said Cornerstone Foundation Executive Director Courtney Moran. “They can also provide a way to spread goodwill and comfort during the holiday season.”

The cookbook contains 400 recipes, ranging from fried pickles and crab puffs to First Class American CU President/CEO Nancy Croix-Stroud’s Sunshine Cake, with many of the recipes sourced from the Cornerstone League, Resources, and Foundation employees.

“It’s great to see this project come together,” said Foundation Development Director Staci Zale. “The cookbook was not just a fundraising tool for us. It also enabled our employees to share part of their personal lives with our Cornerstone region family by sharing their favorite recipes.”
