The Cornerstone Foundation has announced its newest board member, Karyn Davis. Davis is a 25-year veteran of the credit union industry and is the CEO of $26.5 million UP Arkansas Federal Credit Union, based in North Little Rock, Ark.
Davis is currently the president of the Central Arkansas Chapter of Credit Unions and has held that position since 2014. She is also active in advocacy efforts for credit unions, serves on the Arkansas Governmental Affairs Council subcommittee, and is an Arkansas Credit Union Political Action Committee trustee.
Davis graduated from Southwest CUNA Management School in 2011 and served as class president for that group. She holds the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) and the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designations. She has also served in multiple positions throughout the Cornerstone region and in the credit union industry.
