In Memoriam: Judy Pugh

Judy Ann Florence Underwood Pugh of Palestine passed away on May 17 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas, surrounded by family and friends.

Judy was the manager of Anderson County Federal Credit Union for 32 years prior to her retirement on Dec. 31, 2018. She and her employees grew the credit union to be where it is today. Not only did she love her job, she loved her employees and her members. Judy loved being able to help people, not just by making them a loan but by taking a personal interest in their needs. She would give you the shirt off her back. She was always there for her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel in Palestine. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.
