Texas House approves travel insurance regulation bill

The bill will level the playing field among travel insurance providers and benefit consumers by standardizing protections and requirements and encouraging fair and effective competition among market participants.

The bill was unanimously approved by the House on April 18, received by the Senate, and referred to the Senate Business and Commerce Committee.
