DATCU signs sponsorships with three North Texas school districts

Posted: May 2, 2019 | Author:

The 10-year agreements include signage at all competition gymnasiums and athletic complexes across the districts. The donations ranged from $250,000 to $1 million based on the size of the school district. Local community businesses will have the opportunity to advertise and promote their products and services. The proceeds from scoreboard advertising will go the Education Foundation for each district, providing scholarships and grants to students and teachers.

“DATCU is deeply committed to supporting our schools, educators, and students,” said Glen McKenzie, president/CEO of DATCU. “The practical, real-world experience gained by students in creating content and advertising for the digital scoreboards will be invaluable in future careers. These donations will produce dividends for students and teachers for years to come.”
