TTCU announces new OKC branch

Posted: Apr 4, 2019 | Author:

Construction is underway on a new TTCU Federal Credit Union branch in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The branch will be located at 15104 N. Penn Ave., on a corner lot near the Quail Springs shopping center for easy access. The grand opening is slated for fall 2019.

“Oklahoma City is a new market for TTCU, but one which we have been considering for some time,” CEO and President Tim Lyons said. “We’re excited to bring our philosophy of helping members succeed to another part of the state.”

The 3,780-square-foot OKC branch will have an innovative, modern feel, and will focus on a welcoming and seamless experience for members. The branch will utilize cutting-edge technology such as interactive teller machines, which allow members to complete simple transactions themselves. NewGround, who has designed and built previous projects for TTCU, will oversee the construction of the new branch.

“The Oklahoma City branch will represent the next generation of credit unions,” said Senior Vice President of Branch Operations Liz Stidham. “The open concept removes the wall between the credit union employee and the member to let us build better relationships with those we serve.”

TTCU has a long history of giving back to the local community. For 85 years, TTCU Federal Credit Union has supported Oklahoma teachers and schools within its service area. Through the School Pride debit card program, TTCU has donated over $1.1 million to Oklahoma school districts since 2007.

“We are excited to begin supporting school districts in the Oklahoma City area as well,” Lyons said.
