Attend April 18 webinar to learn about Overdraft Litigation

Posted: Apr 3, 2019 | Author:

There is a new wave of litigation over credit union overdraft and NSF practices and fees. As payment systems have gotten more complex, so has the litigation. Every credit union needs to protect itself, and this Overdraft Litigation webinar on April 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. will help your credit union do just that. Compliance and Payment Systems Specialist Hal Scoggins will present actionable information, including:

  • An explanation of the claims in the latest wave of litigation.
  • Key steps to assess and limit risk of overdraft litigation.
  • How operational and data processing practices impact litigation risk – and what you can do about them.
  • How to reduce the gap between disclosures and action.
  • Best (and worst) practices in handling NSFs.
  • What good disclosures can (and can’t) do for you.

Hosted by the Compliance Council, this webinar will allow attendees to help their credit unions manage and mitigate overdraft/NSF litigation risk and educate other credit union staff and volunteers on the pertinent issues.
