Open casting call: Lip-sync superstars requested for SYNG on Sept. 5

Posted: Apr 2, 2019 | Author:

Have you dreamed of being Lady Gaga, the star of a Broadway musical, or your favorite rock star for a night? If so, you’ll want to be part of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation’s SYNG during the Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Leadership Summit & Executive Forum on Sept. 5.

The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is calling all brave souls from across the region who are ready to become Lip-Sync Superstars. It does take some practice to hone your act, but we’re not looking for professionals, just creative people with a flair for the dramatic who are not afraid to get on stage in front of their peers.

Not only do performers get to participate in a fun event, but isn’t there something to be said for taking a chance and stepping outside of your comfort zone? Of course, all your friends, colleagues, and family will be amazed at your lip-sync skills.

So, have we talked you into stepping out on stage? Here are the next steps:

  1. Put on your creative hats and choose just the right song and cast members;
  2. Notify the Foundation of your interest to audition;
  3. Submit an audition video showcasing your song, cast members, and length of performance by May 11 (props and costumes are highly encouraged); and
  4. Anxiously await the announcement of performers on May 31.

You don’t want to miss your credit union peers going toe-to-toe in this epic lip-syncing battle for bragging rights and for Foundation fund-raising.

Please send audition notifications and videos to Staci Zale, development director at [email protected]. For questions, call 469.385.6443.
