Space City Charities announces 2019 Scholarship Applications

Space City Credit Charities in Houston, Texas, announced it has opened its 2019 scholarship application season. Space City Charities was formed in 2011 to honor a lifetime of service by board member Verna Wolf and her dedication to service of others. To date, Space City Charities has awarded $142,350.

There are two levels of scholarship awards, a $2,500 award and a $10,000 award. Scholarships are open to any graduating high school senior or current college student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher based on a four-point scale. For complete details go to SpaceCityCharities.org.

To apply, students must complete the application, provide transcripts, and submit a two- to three-minute video along with other requirements. All applications must be submitted by email to [email protected] with the subject “Scholarship Application” or by mail to Space City Charities, Attention: Scholarship Application, 3101 Harrisburg Blvd., Houston, TX 77003 and must be postmarked by Tuesday, April 30.
