Posted: Mar 4, 2019 | Author:

David Turner, a financial services and consulting veteran, has been named chief information officer of Texas Trust Credit Union.

Turner will succeed the retiring Ron Dinwiddie in the executive vice president and CIO position, managing the information technology, core systems, cybersecurity, and program management teams.

Turner, currently the senior vice president of Information Technology and Portfolio Management, joined Texas Trust in 2012 to manage large projects for the credit union. Since that time, the organization has successfully completed 120 enterprisewide projects, including three mergers. Before joining Texas Trust, Turner was with Transamerica’s Clark Consulting division. He also led teams at companies such as Ceridian, Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ Cartesis division, and UICIA.

Turner has a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from UT Dallas.

“David and Ron worked closely together to build a team and network infrastructure that enabled us to grow aggressively these last few years,” said Texas Trust President and CEO Jim Minge. “We are extremely grateful for Ron’s leadership and professional contribution that helped us achieve our financial and membership goals. We are confident that David will continue to build on this foundation and deliver the tech-enabled solutions our members expect.”
