Only 20 slots remain for SCMS first-year registration; sign up now for Summer Session

The credit union environment continues to advance with shifting employee expectations, evolving technologies, and a sharpened focus on skills, compliance, and employee development. Just like the credit union movement itself, employees and managers alike will want to take advantage of every opportunity to stand out from the crowd.

You can do that through Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS), where leaders develop at the speed of change. The next session runs July 7–17.

SCMS, the three-year educational program designed to develop and enhance leadership skills for credit union professionals, provides an exceptional forum for networking with other credit union professionals; accessing top industry experts; and igniting an inner passion and vision for personal and professional growth.

Only 50 available slots are available each year, a class size that allows for one of the most challenging and engaging curricula for credit union professionals. The classes are built around proven techniques and new trends, and students benefit from a strategic mix of university/college faculty, credit union industry leaders, and recognized professional consultants.

Enrollment remains open only until the class size reaches 50 or June 15.

Prospective students should visit scms.coop for additional information. Make a commitment to begin your professional development journey and contact School Director Janine McBee, CUDE, CMM, at 800-442-5762, ext. 6634, to hold your spot.

Financial assistance is available. The deadline for scholarship applications is April 20. For more information, visit the SCMS website.
