Texas Credit Union Department meeting set for March 8

New Commissioner John J. Kolhoff will be sworn in at the March meeting of the Credit Union Commission. Kolhoff succeeds Harold Feeney, who retired in 2018. The meeting will be held at the Credit Union Department Building located at 914 East Anderson Lane in Austin at 9 a.m.

Following its mandatory rule review, the Commission will consider a vote to readopt, without changes, 7 TAC, Part 6, Chapter 91, Subchapter E concerning Direction of Affairs related to directors’ eligibility, insurance, financial reporting, and audits, and 7 TAC, Part 6, Chapter 91, Subchapter F concerning Accounts and Services.

The Commission will hear reports on the Department’s FY 2019 financial performance and the status of the state credit union system.

New matters before the Commission are the Annual Risk Assessment Report and Annual Policy Review, budget assumption and parameters to guide development of the FY 2020 budget, and a review of legislative issues in the 86th Legislative Session that may impact the department.
