United Arkansas CU names new VP member experience

During 2018, the United Arkansas Credit Union board revamped their CU strategic plan to include re-emphasizing their commitment to the credit union's current SEGs and members. As a result, UAFCU has announced that Chris Furnell has joined their team as vice president of member experience, effective Jan. 2.

Furnell comes to United Arkansas with an extensive background in credit union management and business development.

“Our board and I felt, while investing in technology is crucial in this day and age, our SEGs and current membership is still our best avenue to recruit future members and grow organically,” said Michael Armstrong, president/CEO of UAFCU. “I’m excited about the commitment UAFCU’s board and Michael have made to a vision to enhance the member experience and SEG interaction.”
