  • Resource One CU employees volunteer at Kids’ Meals

    Resource One Credit Union employees in Houston used their Volunteer Time Off to help a local organization, Kids’ Meals. Its mission is to feed children under the age of 6 who face debilitating hunger due to extreme poverty. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, they are now feeding more than 7,000 children and families a day, and Kids’ Meals can only do this with the support of the Houston community through volunteering and donations.

    United Credit Union in Tyler, Texas, recently collected $650 from employees and members for its Back the Teacher program. Now in its second year, the program previously supported an elementary school in Tyler Independent School District, but this year, the credit union decided to expand its reach in Smith County to Troup Elementary School in the Troup ISD.
