ALM  ALM workshop  Experiences & Events

The 2021 Virtual ALM Workshops consist of four webinars delivered over two-weeks in a two-day format. Whether you are new to credit unions and asset/liability management (ALM) or want to increase your knowledge, this webinar series is for you. Join ALM and Financial Analysis Director Margot Strong as she gets you up to speed on ALM concepts and gives you the tools and techniques to manage your credit union’s process more efficiently and effectively.

The content of each webinar series can stand alone, but you must have a basic understanding of ALM and be confident in your knowledge if you plan to start with Series 2. However, if you are new to a credit union or your job responsibilities now involve ALM, you will want to begin with Series 1, followed by Series 2.

The series consists of the following webinars, which will occur from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT:

Series 1: ALM Essentials

  • Webinar No. 1, Feb. 16: Building Blocks of ALM
  • Webinar No. 2, Feb. 17: ALM Best Practices

Series 2: ALM Implementation

  • Webinar No. 3, Feb. 23: GAP—A short-term interest risk measurement
  • Webinar No. 4, Feb. 24: Organizing an ALM Process

To register and for more information.

Register by Feb. 9 for Series 1, Series 2, or both series. Attendance is limited to 15 participants per webinar.
