If you're a credit union professional looking to grow and expand your knowledge or a current leader wanting to demonstrate your expertise and know-how, then the new virtual Chapter Leadership Academy (CLA) may be a good fit for you.
The program is designed to build leaders, encourage growth, promote the overall industry, tie leaders closer to the credit union movement, and provide an avenue to receive mentoring and discuss leadership philosophy.
The curriculum, which is currently being used by chapters, has been updated with new and refreshed content and slides. With its virtual format—inspired by the Fort Worth Chapter of Credit Unions—the academy allows credit union professionals from across the region to come together to facilitate the educational process and expand networking opportunities.
Those participating will benefit from live sessions and lunch and learn speakers. Additionally, each student has the option to be paired with a mentor. What’s more, the academy is advantageous for remote credit unions that are not close enough to engage with a chapter or individuals who are engaged, but their chapter is not as active.
The academy also provides excellent training for chapter leaders who want to present the program in 2022, as well as leadership opportunities for deans, facilitators, or mentors.
This valuable nine-month learning opportunity is being offered at affordable prices:
Cornerstone is currently seeking volunteers to serve as deans, facilitators, lunch and learn speakers, and mentors. If you’re interested or want more details on these roles, please email email@example.com.
The Development Digest is sent to League member credit union staff on the first Monday of every month.
