Thankful

Cornerstone is thankful for members and opportunities to serve

“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.” ~Zig Ziglar

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s a good time to take stock of all we have to be thankful for. At the League, we are thankful for you, our members. We are also grateful for the health of our families. And when our little ones become sick, we are fortunate to have our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nearby and CU4Kids that raises funds to help families in need.

We also appreciate how the Cornerstone Foundation steps in with financial assistance when disasters strike, as well as its dedication to promoting financial capability programs for youth and adults and providing access to professional development for credit union staff and volunteers. Additionally, we are grateful for our cooperative structure that allows us to live out the philosophy of "people helping people" and allows us to serve one another’s members through shared branching.

Even during the coronavirus pandemic, Cornerstone is seeing an outpouring of camaraderie and support during our biweekly roundtables, and we are thankful. The Cornerstone team is also thankful for nimble leaders who support innovation and problem solving.

The League is your partner, committed to promoting your success, delivering exceptional value for your dues dollars, and providing critical support through roundtable discussions, a pandemic resources webpage, and Facebook pages for Small Credit Unions and Disaster Updates.
