Presenters: Steve Gibbs, CUCE, BSACS, and Idrees Rafiq Jr., MBA

Steve Gibbs manages Credit Union Resources’ Risk Management and Compliance Services. His career of more than 35 years in the financial industry includes service with three regulatory agencies. Gibbs holds CUNA's Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) certifications. Gibbs has presented and conducted training for the financial industry, trade, and regulatory groups throughout the U.S. and in Puerto Rico.

Idrees Rafiq, Jr. is VP of IT consulting with Information Security, Compliance, and Consulting, Credit Union Resources. He specializes in leveraging IT and security-related issues with compliance, marketing, vendor management, business continuity, and other business operations specific to credit unions ranging from $2 million to $3 billion in assets. Rafiq serves on CUNA’s Cybersecurity Advisory Board and the executive leadership board of NCU-ISAO and is a faculty member with Southwest CUNA Management School. In 2017, he was named a Credit Union Rock Star by Credit Union Magazine.
