The Cornerstone League Young Professionals group is dedicated to attracting, engaging, and empowering young talent in the Cornerstone region and positively impacting our communities. The Leaguer regularly features YP Spotlights to help you get to know these up-and-comers. This month, meet Courtney Spearman, Chad Kuester, and Christina Goss.
Christina Goss is the AVP of consumer lending at Allegiance Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City, Okla. She has spent six years in the credit union movement and appreciates how credit unions focus on improving members' financial well-being.
A mother of four, Goss often surprises people with her ability to balance a busy home life with her professional career. She’s currently reading “Thinking in Bets” by Annie Duke and dreams of traveling through Europe one day. Until then, her favorite travel destination is Chicago, and her go-to treat is Braum’s cookies and cream ice cream.
Chad Kuester is the VP of specialized lending at River Region Credit Union in Jefferson City, Mo., and has been in the credit union industry for 11 years. He enjoys working with his team and helping members find more financial freedom.
An outdoor enthusiast, Kuester loves traveling to the mountains and wishes he had the power of flight to skip long commutes. He’s also an avid listener of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where he gains insights on a wide range of topics.
Courtney Spearman is a learning and development specialist at Infuze Credit Union in Waynesville, Mo., and has been in the credit union industry for five years. She loves the “people helping people” philosophy and how credit unions treat members as more than just numbers.
A book enthusiast, Spearman enjoys reading everything by Colleen Hoover and even started a small library in her office to exchange books with coworkers. She recently watched “The Six Triple Eight” and highly recommends it.
Her favorite place she’s traveled to is London, and when it comes to dessert, nothing beats a classic lemon meringue pie. She’s also a passionate supporter of Snack in a Pack, a nonprofit that provides food to children in need on weekends.
These young professionals are making a difference in their credit unions and communities. Stay tuned for more YP Spotlights next month.
