Texans Credit Union, headquartered in Richardson, Texas, has announced its recognition in The Dallas Morning News Top Workplaces awards for the second consecutive year. Texans has earned top honors, ranking 9th among midsize companies in Dallas-Fort Worth, 11th in the national financial services industry, and 50th in the 2024 Top Workplaces USA award for midsize companies.
Energage, the administrator of the annual program, marked its 16th year of the Top Workplaces awards in DFW. Nearly 6,900 companies were nominated, and more than 127,000 employees were surveyed.
Nationally, over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the survey, which measures key aspects of organizational culture, including leadership, communication, and employee satisfaction. As part of the process, 260 Texans Credit Union employees were surveyed. Results from 15 Culture Drivers correlate with high employee performance and organizational success benchmarked against industry standards.

During the season of giving, Endurance Federal Credit Union in Duncan, Okla., has made a meaningful impact in their communities by participating in World Kindness Day, Giving Tuesday, and adopting a family for Christmas. The credit union demonstrated its commitment to community support by distributing random $50 gift cards, filling blessing boxes throughout the county, and providing gifts and meals for a family in need for the holiday season.
President and CEO Chris Bower expressed pride in these initiatives. “We are always glad to contribute and give back to the communities we serve,” he said. “This can be a challenging time of year for many, and we wanted to spread kindness and support those who need it most."
