Question:

Can you direct us to a good source for financial literacy resources?

Answer:

Yes. The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) recently released a redesigned MyCreditUnion.gov, a consumer-focused website dedicated to financial literacy and helping consumers manage and protect their money.

The new MyCreditUnion.gov is easy-to-use, accessible, and a trusted financial education resource for consumers, credit union staff, and financial educators.

Resources include:

  • gov Blog – features up-to-date topics and news information
  • Money Basics Guides – A series developed to help consumers master the basics of managing their money.
  • Educational Videos – Informative webinars and short consumer tip videos to help explain complex financial topics.
  • Manage Your Money Topics – Pages that provide a deep dive into topics like credit reporting and credit scores, mortgages, and debt.
Much of the above can be found under the website’s Learning Resources tab.
