The True Sky Open, presented by Fiserv, was held at the Lincoln Park Golf Course West in Oklahoma City and raised $50,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Mike Shockley, VP of lending, worked closely with a team of True Sky employees to organize this successful golf tournament. “We couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors and business partners,” said Shockley.

The golf tournament, which was held Sept. 27, had nearly two dozen sponsors, and more than 75 players signed up to compete. The tournament featured an auction, hole-in-one competitions, and a helicopter drop.

“This is the first year that our annual golf tournament was run by the True Sky Foundation, and I couldn’t be happier about the way it turned out,” said True Sky Credit Union President/CEO Sean Cahill. “It’s important to us to support causes in our community like the Children’s Miracle Network. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the True Sky Foundation after such a successful first event.”

On Oct. 13, 2021, the True Sky Foundation, in partnership with the CO-OP Miracle Match Program, presented the Children’s Miracle Network with a check for $50,000.

Additional funds raised by the True Sky Foundation will support important community programs, local causes, and student scholarships in the future.
