Why You Should Attend the Principles and Philosophy Conference
Tuesday, March 7, 2017 6:30 AM

Principles & Philosophy ConferenceThe principles and philosophies that guide credit unions are not only good foundations for business, together they're what make credit unions different from other financial institutions. That's why it's essential for all credit union employees to understand our tried-and-true principles and philosophies.

This year's Principles and Philosophy Conference takes place in Oklahoma City, May 22-24, and is designed to help you understand and apply foundational concepts in everyday operations, enabling you to better meet the needs of your members while solidifying the unique role of financial cooperatives in the marketplace.

Here are some satisfied participants in last year's Principles and Philosophy Conference:

  • Solomon Lopez, Coastal Community and Teachers CU: "To hear the passion behind the presenters is amazing. From start to finish, the transformation during this training was great! So much has been absorbed about CU and what I/we can do to help our community and members."
  • Erin Patterson, Me/CU of Oklahoma City: "Being new to the CU and coming from a 'big bank,' now see and truly understand the difference, and it’s not just better rates. I cannot see how I missed this the 20+ years at a bank."
  • Crystal Boykins, First Class American CU: "Loved everything! I was very nervous about coming to this training, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I have learned many new things that I know I can bring back to benefit my credit union. The speakers and mentors were awesome, and I would recommend this training to others."
