Webinar: Credit Union Impacts of Senate Bill 2155
Wednesday, October 17, 2018 6:35 AM

On May 24, 2018, the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act (Regulatory Relief Act, or S 2.155) was signed into law. The Act provides significant, specific regulatory relief to credit unions, some of which will be available immediately and some of which must be made by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection or other federal regulators.

Join us for a special webinar on the impacts of Senate Bill 2155, hosted by the Cornerstone Compliance Council. We will analyze the new safe harbor category of Qualified Mortgages, new exemption for appraisals in rural areas under certain conditions, changes to the HMDA data collection and reporting requirements for small lenders, escrow requirement changes, and the possible impact of Section 213 on utilizing and retaining IDs obtained when providing online services. Additional areas of focus will be changes to requirements under the Servicemember Civil Relief Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Truth in Lending Act.

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018
Time: 10–11:30 a.m. CST
