Volunteers Forum Keynoter to Focus on Your Biggest Stressors
Thursday, June 4, 2015 6:20 AM

Mark Mayfield

The 2015 Volunteers Forum takes place at the Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City on June 10-12, but you still have time to make plans to attend. Don't miss out on this golden opportunity to network with volunteers from credits unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Look with fresh eyes at best practices and future trends, and engage in collaboration and training.

Attendees will receive certificates of attendance/completion for financial literacy, BSA, and supervisory committee training for federal credit unions.

Come out for education and entertainment with closing session keynoter Mark Mayfield. In his presentation, "Momma Told Me There'd Be Days like This," Mayfield will teach you the five behaviors to help balance your life. Learn techniques to deal with your biggest stressor—people! This keynote is high on content and hilarity, and volunteers will want to experience it in person.

What else will the Forum cover?

  • The economic, political, and business climate
  • The 3 RX's for effective future CU boards: recruitment, retention, and revitalization
  • What all directors need to know about financial statements
  • The future of credit union governance
  • Board/CEO relations: “A Marriage Made In?"
  • Panel discussions on better board meetings
  • And more!
