Volunteers’ Forum: Guest Program to feature Cavern Tours, Small-town Visit
Tuesday, June 11, 2013 3:35 AM

Guests attending the 2013 Volunteers’ Forum are in for a special treat. On June 20, Texas Credit Union League is offering an exciting Optional Guest Program for a day trip throughout the San Antonio area.

The day will start with a tour of the Natural Bridge Caverns in northern San Antonio.  Travelers will experience a walk through the caverns and view centuries-old stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers and soda straws.

Following the caverns tour, guests will head up the road to the small town of Gruene, Texas, which sits on the banks of the Guadalupe River. While there, guests will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Gristmill Restaurant and experience all the fun and shopping that Gruene has to offer.

The guest fee for the trip is $100 and includes transportation to and from the hotel, a ticket to the Natural Bridge Caverns and lunch in Gruene. The buses board at 9:15 a.m. and will return to the hotel at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The 2013 Volunteers’ Forum takes place June 19-21 in San Antonio. For more information or to register, please visit
