Updated Average Retail Fees Report Now Available
Thursday, April 6, 2017 6:55 AM

As a benefit of membership, The Cornerstone Credit Union League provides its members with a product called the Average Retail Fees Report, which is updated on a biannual basis.

The report contains the average fees charged by banks and credit unions nationally, as well as in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas individually. Credit unions may look at fees charged for cashier's checks, traveler's checks, gift cards, money orders, stop payment, paper copies of statements, coin counting, dormant accounts, bill pay transactions, telephone transfers, account research, NSF/overdraft, wire transfers (domestic and international), safe deposit boxes, ATM/debit cards, CD early withdrawal, checking, regular savings, and money market accounts.

“The Cornerstone League is very pleased to offer this dues-supported service to our credit unions," says Mike Delker, Cornerstone’s SVP of credit union relations. "This is another example of the commitment Cornerstone has to serving our member credit unions and providing resources important to them.”

The most recent version of the Average Fees Report is now available on the Cornerstone website under “Credit Union Statistics and Reports.” You will need your CU Passport ID and password to access it.

If you have any questions about this report, please contact Doug Foister, VP research, at or call 469-385-6477 (direct) or 800-442-5762, ext. 6477 (toll free).
