Upcoming Cornerstone Bankruptcy & Collections Seminars in Houston
Thursday, September 25, 2014 6:50 AM

The Cornerstone Training & Events department is holding Bankruptcy and Collections Seminars at the Doubletree Houston Hobby Hotel on November 5-6.

Charlie Williams, Esq., will be teaching the Bankruptcy Seminar on November 5.  His presentation will focus on bankruptcy essentials for new credit union bankruptcy officers.  With over three decades of experience, Williams knows first-hand the problems that proofs of claims, automatic stay issues, payroll deductions, and credit reporting can cause credit unions.

Presenting on collections, Mike Blalack, Esq., brings a distinctive view of credit union repossession issues. His work representing credit unions of all sizes has given him experience critiquing credit unions' collections departments, especially repossession notice letters, balance letters, and procedural deficiencies.

This collections seminar is essential for credit unions dealing with any form of collections or repossession. It covers key legal issues and will help employees understand legal requirements to be continually compliant.

Register now and receive the early bird rate of $299 by visiting the Bankruptcy & Collections Seminars web page.
