Unity One's Erayne Gee Hill Recently Named Industry Rock Star
Tuesday, November 3, 2015 6:50 AM

Erayne Gee Hill, vice president of marketing at Unity One Credit Union, has been named an industry “Rock Star” by Credit Union Magazine. Gee Hill was one of 49 credit union employees from across the nation who received this special designation.

Gee Hill’s push-the-envelope marketing efforts for the recent “Don’t Get Spanked by Banks” campaign earned her the nomination from industry peer Andy Reed, president of Texas People Federal Credit Union in Fort Worth.

“She envisioned an edgy marketing campaign in conservative Fort Worth that produced amazing results evidenced by solid metrics,” Reed says.

The nomination came as no surprise to Gary Williams, president of Unity One Credit Union. "Erayne has dedicated over eight years putting our members’ best interest in the forefront of all credit union initiatives," Williams said. "She is passionately involved in the communities we serve and the credit union industry’s collaborative efforts. In addition to serving on many non-profit boards within the Fort Worth community, she has elevated the credit union’s marketing efforts to new heights. This is truly a wonderful way to honor her efforts."

The release of the magazine’s special edition coincided with International Credit Union Day, celebrated the third Thursday in October every year.
