Unity One CU Announces Recipients of UGive Campaign
Monday, March 28, 2016 6:50 AM

One more way credit unions give back to the communities they serve. Social responsibility is a priority for America's credit unions.

Unity One Credit Union has committed to giving away $1,600 this year to organizations through their UGive campaign. This campaign allows employees, and members, to nominate deserving organizations throughout their communities. The public is then asked to vote for the organization of their choice during the two-week voting period.

The highlighted organizations for the first quarter were: the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Heart Association, and Guide Dogs of America.

The organization with the most votes during the first quarter, awarded with the first place prize of $250, was the American Heart Association. The Alzheimer’s Association and the Guide Dogs of America were runners-up, receiving $100 and $50 respectively.

To nominate an organization for an upcoming quarter, send an email to Alyssa Guillory, director of community and public relations, at
