Union Square CU Announces Expanded Field of Membership
Friday, November 20, 2015 7:00 AM

Union Square Credit Union recently received notice that their Field of Membership expansion application had been approved by the Texas Credit Union Department. Prior, only those living or working in Wichita County were eligible for membership; however, now the credit union is open to Archer, Baylor, Clay, Wichita, or Wilbarger counties in Texas and Cotton or Tillman counties in Oklahoma.

“As a result of this field of membership expansion, so many more individuals and businesses will have access to the wonderful benefits of our credit union. If you live, work, worship, or attend school in any of Wichita’s contiguous counties, all of our credit union’s products, services, and facilities are available to you and your immediate family members, as well as your businesses and organizations,” stated John Barad, Union Square's president and chief executive officer.

“Our member service is second to none," said Barad. "When asked what being a member of Union Square meant, the recurring and overwhelming response seems to be, ‘It’s more like family,’ and we’ve owned that as our mantra. We are not only excited about the opportunity to grow our credit union membership; we are looking forward to growing our family as well.”
