Tyler Chapter Delivers Stuffed Dogs to Trinity Mother Frances Hospital

On December 14, several Tyler-area credit unions participated in delivering 150 stuffed Credit Unions Care dogs to Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas.

Lexie Clark, the program coordinator for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Foundation, provided the credit union representatives with a tour, including the neonatal intensive care unit. 

"I hope everyone walked away knowing not only how vital our partnership with credit unions is, but how much you all have already made possible!" Clark said.

The credit union participants included: Michelle Small, Kelly Community FCU; Rae Oakes, Kelly Community FCU; Sarah Parlett, East Texas Professional CU; Rhonda Ducote, East Texas Professional CU; Sherri McElyea, United CU; Cameron Anderson, United CU; and Lorri Gaither and Paula Upchurch from the Cornerstone Credit Union League.

Gaither said, "We truly appreciated this opportunity and hope the stuffed dogs will bring cheer and comfort to the kids."
