Ty Tatum Passes Away and Funeral Services will be held Tomorrow

Ty Tatum, 38, of Woodway, died Jan. 10, in an accident while at his family ranch. Tatum was vice president of lending with Waco-based Genco FCU. He had been with the credit union for 13 years, and was very active in the Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Lending Council.

“Ty was a wonderful human being. He loved his family dearly, and really lived the credit union philosophy of people helping people,” said Neil Ling, Genco FCU president and CEO. “He was a good Christian man and we will miss him dearly.”

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gentry's Mill Cemetery near Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tatum’s memory at Genco Federal Credit Union, c/o Ty Tatum, 731 N. Valley Mills Dr., Waco, TX 76710.
