True Sky CU Gives Members $4M Through Interest Rebate Program
Monday, January 9, 2017 6:55 AM

True Sky Credit Union board members voted to give year-end rebates and bonuses of $359,000 for the 16th consecutive year to more than 50,000 members. Through this program, the credit union has given back more than $4 million total in rebates and bonuses. Some accounts and loan types do not qualify for the program.

Reward Details

  • Three percent rebate, equaling $359,000 was given back to members.
  • Members who paid interest on loans or earned dividends during the year were rewarded the rebate.
  • Rebates were directly deposited into member savings accounts and reflected on their December 31 statements.

True Sky Credit Union remains one of the few that provide their membership with this reward.

"We are proud to be one of the few financial institutions to give back to our members with year-end rebates and bonuses," said True Sky President/CEO Steve Rasmussen. "It brings us great joy to have the ability to give our profits back to our members. It's our special way of thanking members for their business."
