Oklahoma City-based True Sky Credit Union has introduced a new member of the family. Bennie the Head Hawk (pictured) will serve as the face of their revamped youth accounts. In addition to the new youth accounts, the credit union is also hosting its annual coloring contest.
True Sky revamped their youth accounts to gain more involvement from their members. The new accounts include Bennie's Highflyers for kids up to age eight and the Aviators Account for those ages nine to 15.
The accounts offer incentives that encourage kids to build good savings habits, read books, get good grades, and more. They will receive a special newsletter from Bennie, as well as a special gift on their birthday.
Bennie has already been making his rounds at several events in the community as well as in the True Sky branches.
This is just one more way True Sky Credit Union is serving the community. With headquarters in Oklahoma City and seven branches in the greater Oklahoma City area, True Sky Credit Union has been serving members for 70 years. Today, the credit union has 51,000 members in Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie counties. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in its eight-county service area. True Sky Credit Union has assets in excess of $580 million.
