Time is Running Out to Submit Nominations for Cornerstone Awards
Tuesday, February 4, 2014 6:45 AM

Credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas only have until Feb. 14 to nominate individuals for the Volunteer of the Year, Achiever of the Year, Professional of the Year and Hall of Fame. The Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Awards & Recognition program is designed to recognize accomplishments, time and effort in support and promotion of the credit union movement by professionals and volunteers.

The Achiever of the Year award is open to paid credit union professionals serving credit unions $50 million or below in assets.

The Professional of the Year award is open to paid credit union professionals regardless of asset size.

The Volunteer of the Year award is open to active credit union volunteers.

Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award and retired credit union professionals, and active or “retired” credit union volunteers, are eligible.

If you or someone you know is deserving of this award, Cornerstone encourages you visit the Awards & Recognition section to learn more. Nominees must be from a Cornerstone-affiliated credit union. Recipients of these awards will be recognized at Cornerstone’s Annual Meeting & Expo April 22-24 in San Antonio.

If you have any questions about the award program, please contact Linda Webb-Mañon, vice president of communications and PR, at (469) 385-6486 or (800) 442-5762, ext. 6486.
