This Week's "15 Minutes in the Economy" Podcast: the Home Market, Middle Class Retirement Study, and More
Tuesday, October 28, 2014 6:55 AM

The Cornerstone Credit Union League's podcast, "15 Minutes in the Economy," posts a new podcast for the week of Oct. 27.

This week in the economic podcast, we review the home market and, in particular, home availability and pricing. We also examine Wells Fargo's Middle Class Retirement Study, the areas in the U.S. where the best budgeters can be found, the parallels (or lack of parallels) between home ownership and student loan debt, and mortgage rates. Finally, we assess the 14-year-low jobless claims. You can hear all of this within the span of 15 minutes.

Credit unions may access the podcast from Cornerstone's website. Each week, you'll find updated commentary with a distinct focus on the South Central portion of the U.S. Members will be able to access the streaming audio on Cornerstone’s website at www.cornerstoneleague.coop/economic_podcast.html.

If you have suggestions for topics and materials, please send those to Rick Grady, Cornerstone’s vice president of Research, at rgrady@cornerstoneleague.coop.
